oh...selamat menyambur ramadhan al-mubarak. jangan membazir (selalunya berlaku) Jangan dok belasah semua bende yg ada kat pasar ramadhan tuh. aku? biasanya aku beli kuih je. itupun, kuih tradisional yg tak/susah nak jumpa masa2 lain. setakat karipap, popia tuh, aku takkan beli la. pastuh, kalau aku malas nak masak, aku beli sumthing for dinner. masa nih la berlaku pembaziran. sebab kdg2 bende yg dibeli untuk dinner tu lah yg takkan dimakan. klu ok lagi, bole makan untuk sahur. So, beringat2 la masa berbelanja.

2-3 hari nih, ahak memenatkan. Keje kat opis mmg takyah citer la. banyak. aku letih sket sebab minggu lepas ramailah plak org order kerepek untuk makan2 katanya. untuk raya, belum lagi. well, 4th Sept aku tutup order kerepek. so, agak2 kat opis tuh, bulan2 posa malas wat keje, aku ada projek nak wat. nak menyiapkan puzzle2 aku tuh. teringin gak nak jadik distibutor tapi takde fulus. Supplier @ Guangdong, China dah contact aku and agree nak bagi harge special + takyah minimum order of 40 cartons as usually applied to other customers. tapi..fulus tak mengizinkan la...tgkla camana...nah..aku dah siapkan Taj Mahal & Sydney Opera House.

Taj Mahal - puzzle version (miniature S)

Today, aku nampak satu iklan kat TV. Iklan perfume Hope & Bravo. Comel gile iklan tuh. first time, i dont resent Mawi and peminat Mawi takkan kena marah minah tuh sebab panggil mawi Neanderthal..haha...sirap...haha..the slang..cute...bravo. nice ad so far.

Not forgetting, last Fri was Murthy's last day in TW. I dont really work with him so i will bid him goodbye as fellow Valvian comrades.

aarrrgghh....rehat jap...

next: award????

Ampun Tuanku..

nganganganga -credit to Lin ghazali. cara dia gelak horror tul.

Selamat sampai Chendering Kuala Terengganu kul 9.o0am. Aku tatau berapa kali berhenti (yg aku sedar adalah 3 kali). Aku tdo sepanjang jalan sebab lesen aku dah mati. Takleh tukar driver. Berhenti breakfast kat Kelulut. Nasi Dgang superb but Nasi Minyak dia, bak kata Adam , macam nasi Rainbow tapi tasteless. Gulai daging plak macam Daging Masak Kicap yg...lebih 3 hari lepas minus the kulat2 basi.
Rehat, Tidur, mandi, petang tuh aku pi INSTEP - Institut Teknologi PETRONAS- aku tak berminat tuk clarify apa yg ada & apa yg depa buat kat INSTEP tapi cukuplah kata Abe (nephew aku) akan keluar sebagai Trained Technician and surprisingly will be placed in MLNG.
Bintulu not that far from Sabah compared to PM, so it will be good for him. He grew up to be a nice, not bad-looking, funny gentleman. I can't believe my Nephew is about to enter to workforce already. Laaa...his sister dah start keje pun, apa la aku nih.,

2nd day, biasala, merayau. Aku dah carikkan tudung 60 inci tuk Bibah kat bus station nun and beli tudung tuk mak aku skali. mahal ghopenye tudung nih ye. actually, banyak lagi options yg murah. perlu ke pakai yg meghelit2 tuh? aku pernah jokingly cakap ngan ofismate aku, if i were to be a robberm i would rob all of your houses and search for nothing except gold and tudung. nowadays, tudung @ headscarf are quite pricey. Below were bought for my sis and mom. Blue & brown are for my sis (60 inches bidangnya) and cost abourt RM75.00 for both and for my mom, the beige colour costs about RM50 (all after price juggling by dear husband).
Vincci KT is at 70% sales!!! well, as usual, these kind of sales is what you see is what u get as i could only find one pair that has size 6 (that's my size la moron). But that's not what attractive about Kuala Terengganu town. amongst the attractions is the Town Bus @ Bas Bandar @ Bah Bandor. Nice, isn't it? i wonder who gave such a wonderful idea.

Today, dalam kul 6pm, aku pi Noorarfa batik yg macam istana seperti kat sini. banyak images.
Contoh:

aku pun tak paham kenapa depa tak update ngan gambar terbaru Istana Noorarfa batik. lawa apa. aku bnyk tgk kat fotopages orang tapi nak cilok tak sedap la. so, aku cilok link dari tourism tgganu. nama tourism, lagi banyak org tau, lagi besh kan. esok kalau sempat aku pi tangkap gambor sket2 la. sebab lokasinya depan rumah in-lawsaku je. tuh la org kata, nyamuk sebrang laut nampak, gajah depan mata dok napok staghang. hikhik...

aku bukan nak ad tuk noorarfa - klu nk tgk psl noorarfa pun, pi sini- tadik aku pi sana hengat nak cekau kain batik lepas Tganu seikat dua. Paling murah pun RM16.0 sehelai. mak aiii. kat pasor payang muroh sket tapi memandangkan budget aku pun terikat2, nanti balik raya aku borong untuk kakak2 aku yg takde kain sarong tuh. Cerita sebenarnya adalah, (apsa la aku x ambik gambo), masa nak masuk aku dah perasan "alamak, keta Y.T.M) Aku hengatkan Y.T.M. Sultan Mizan & Permaisuri, punyalah aku teruja. Aku tgk bawah, alamak, aku pakai slip-on jek.mampusla, bukan depa nak jumpa aku pun, aku jek yg terhegeh2.

"Bang, leh masuk dalam tak? maklumla, saya bukan kerabat"...hehe...sempat lagi aku berloyar buruk. dalam pada tuh aku teringat mamat kelako yg jual brooch kat pasar minggu Permint Jaya " saya sebenarnya putera raja tapi meyamar menjual brooch. awak nih nampak mcm atlet" haha. apa kess plak aku mcm atlet. tapi joke dia tuh mmbuat aku membeli 2 psg brooches. ok, berbalik kat citer tadik. rupanya, Putera Mahkota pAHANG ( KDYTM Tengku Mahkota Pahang,
Tengku Abdullah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah)
. hensem beb. Rasanya Tunku Azizah pun ada.Image Aku rasa tak salah orang. Tapi staffs Noorarfa sendirik mengesahlan sedemikian. Kiranya hamba bersalah, hambe memohon ampun dan maaf. Daulat Tuanku!!

anyway, aku rasa selamat gila petang tadik. Escorts dan polis motor putih memang banyak le. Noorarfa was the safest place the shop at 6.00pm today. Hasil aku kat Noorarfa, tudung comel sofiya and kain smaping for dear hubby.

aku dah buatkan tempoyak tuk depa (ishkk ishk senang je nk buat tempoyak. sebab aku tolong tgk je..heheh) Beli kat pasar payang durian tadik RM5.00 selonggok tuk buat tempoyak. cakap pasal durian, mak aiiii, aku mentekedarah durian 2-3 hari nih mcm i've never seen one. Pelbagai durian aku makan. segala D ada, segala Durian Kunyit, durian panjang apa ntah. mcm2. sebab tuh aku ske balik Tganu nih selain cara hidup yg relax ala2 Keningau tempat kelahiranku yg terchenta.

One thing worth of note though, i would like to applaud JPJ KT for the excellent and fast service i;ve ever get from a government agency..hooorrraaayyy. I was without a driving license for a month since my P has expired and such renewal of P to full-license needs me to go to JPJ only. So, since we have planned to go back to KT, i might as well renew it here. Damn i was right. i had my license and my hubby's license in UNDER 10 MINUTES. Yup, maybe KT dwellers are not as many of Klang valley dwellers but takkan la nombor yg aku ambik pagi about 9 will only be served at 5.00PM!!!!!! It happened in a certain Pdg Jwa JPJ. memang la aku akui ramai pi situ tapi takkan la takleh tambah kaunter. kalau dah tahu ramai, buatla makeshift counter. do something about it and dont let it be another reason for us to be "takpe la". some people kene keje tau and annual leave tak lah sebanyak mana. mcm nak menghasilkan workforce yg intelligent dan berwawasan dan berhemah kalau mcm neh. kan?kan? tuh belum lagi aku sebut experience aku ngan JPN Keningau, sabah. malas aku. biarla. tunggu waktu dan ketika.

anyway, bravo to JPJ Kuala Terengganu.

esok balik KL balik. buhsan.

going places

I spent a good 5-mornings (1-hour each) construction these magnificio monuments. I've always like puzzles, stuffs that i could assemble like Tamiya cars, and the above. These are made of some kind of Styrofoam and paper. There are 99pcs in total for all the 5 Mini Architecture Series: World Famous 1. No tools required, easy to assemble, educational and great deco items. Many people were saying that my son should be fiddling with these, not me!!! I dont care. I like em!!

The one on the left is Burj Al-Arab, Dubai, UAE. My first monument and i didn't know i had to be gentle...heheh. Anyway, some people mistook it for MENARA TELEKOM, BANGSAR. kahkahkah...It's the world's tallest and ONLY 7 star hotel. There are some emails flying around about Agassi playing Tennison the helipad. how true is it?

The one on the right is, well, what else, Petronas Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Also quite easy but fixing the "top floor" was a bit tricky. It;s the wrld's tallest twin-building.

Level of patience required: 6 out of 10.
Reason: there are some small parts/floors. The holes were non-even also.

Left: Eiffel Tower of Paris, France. It was built for Paris World Exposition held in 1889 to commemerate the 100th anniversary of French Revolution.

Right: Le Torre De Pisa / The Tower of Pisa / The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy. It's the bell tower of he Cathedral. Construction began in August 1173 and cont (with 2 very2 long interuptions) for about 200 hundred years. The architect is still unknown.

Level of patience required: 2 out of 10.
Reason: Very2 easy to assemble.

This is not the London Bridge. Hokaaayyy!!! It's the Tower Bridge, a neighbour to the former. London Bridge used to have Tower but the modern one don't. It has stood over Thames River since 1894
Level of patience required: 8 out of 10.
Reason: there are some small parts/floors. The holes were non-even also. It's the Mini-MRR2. If u knw what i mean.
I felt i wanted to glue em together.

well, where to get those? I bought the box at a booth in front of KFC Restaurant, Carrefour, Subang Jaya at RM29.90 per box (5 monuments)

Im gonna look for the 2nd series. not even sure if they have it.

Now, where should i display all these?

disclaimer: all of the above facts ARE NOT checked at the moment of blogging. You wnat the real facts, find it yourself.

mandom...

tang mana start perkataan mandom aku pun tatau. menurut Google......check here, A LOT!!!!

Anyway, that's not the word of the day.
I've been -on & off- watching Olympics and damn, the men swimming teams are simply delicious. so, okay, the gurls are not bad, but the men...wow...!!!

on the way back, i stopped by the Superpets shop. Damn the cats are gojes. I'm raising a baby and gonna be raising 2 babies soon (planning is good), cats are off the radar. Unless, i find another house. Landed property. tempting. i love my baby but i also happen to adore cats. bite me.

We will be heading to east coast this weekend for a short holiday. maybe ill go and see my nephew @ INSTEP. maybe look for some fun. new adventure. new stuffs.

those cats are gojes, aren't there?

APA KE HE YOB?

~Weekend~

Last saturday, aku jadik personal shopper untuk kakak aku. kebetulan pegi sek18 SA, Pusat pakaian Hari2. rUpanya, kedai HH kat Green Point mall tuh not bad at all. Baju sekolah abundant and cheap. That was my objective actually. I ended up spending RM509.00 there. That my fren, inclusive o baju2 raya anak2 kakak aku. as usual, she will go if not sama, sedondon je every raya. This time, all the baju kurungs and baju melayu chosen by me and she is very2 lucky that my taste, if not of fashion desginer, never fails to compliment my sense of fashion or my skin colour or. whatever. what interest me more is What does A pERSONAL sHOPPER REALLY2 DO?

Extract from here:
You could specialize in shopping for gifts or clothing, or you might shop for food, furniture, jewelry, toys, or anything else a client wants. Here are some of the types of shopping done by personal shoppers. Which ones can you imagine yourself doing?

* Taking care of shopping for busy families
* Shopping for designer clothing, home furnishings, and other items for wealthy people
* Finding the perfect gifts for companies to give to their important clients
* Buying groceries and other items for senior citizens and other people who find it difficult to get around
* Buying Christmas presents

This is cool plus the NO BOSS bonus. I am amazed that some PS can actually get the stores to approve "see first, purhcase later". that is sooo awesome. but does it work in malaysia? i see the malls in malaysia are full to the brims with shoppers + window shoppers. For some people, they dont have aircond at home and thus, going to the mall will cool off their needs for aircond. haha.

anyway, shopping for my sister was easy as , as long as the colour matches, she's fine with it. People gawked at me thinking that i must be having 8 kids. i was also shopping for adam's and daddy baju raya. might as well get for me. Although, the shop will spoil you with choices, but i did like one colour and design. cheap and simple. call me cheapskates, i dont care. So this year raya, my family and my sis family will be wearing clothes from HH, same colour, same design. wicked.

Sunday, on the way to Kajang, from Carrefour subanag to ship off the above baju raya, we went through sunway and at the roundabout nearby metro college, the police were checking up on motorists. That was a normal view. so , idont mind. bu i do mind if the Police say PUKIMAK to me and family. y? at the sunay traffic light, the same police on the big white motorbike (i dunno what its called) trying to squeeze through the traffic. Since there was a Wish (i think so la) in front, he couldnt get through. So, kie was thinking that, let's pay a prank at this policeman. so, he didnt giv face and drove ahead. The policeman must be very2 pissed off since he stopped by our car and causing motorists at the back to stop their car for nothing. oopps.. there is sumthing. HIS BIGGER THAN HIS BALLS EGO!!!!

He's lucky i couldnt get my camera on time. Yes, i do bring em all the time. for times like this. He mumbled sumthing but even from the wind up rear window (i was at the back with sofiya), i could hear him say PUKIMAK. there's our ROYAL POLICE. i have so much respect for them that i was shocked to hear this from a senior. How i know? He's, well, off matured age and he got on those big white bikes only seniors will get. Kie's reply upon my question of why he had to do it? "Ow, was he trying to get through? what, do we have t respect them so much that we have to give way whenever they're in sight?" I was pissed at my dear husband but he's got a point there.

First, the PUKIMAK policeman was NOT going anywhere important. If yes, why was his sirens off?
secondly, Policeman ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FRIENDLY. Even if we do wrong, all they can do is remind you of what you're doing wrong and prduce summons la. THAT'S ALL. What? the people are supposed to be afraid of Policeman meh? unless you're a criminal, we should feels safe at he sight of policeman. Ini tidak, walau pun x buat salah, some of us will "alamak, polis". apa ke he yob?
3rdly, DONT ACT FOOLISH. ehat the point he stopped us in the middle of traffic? at traffic light some more?

i'm not against Police. I like the Police Force. PDRM. I used to be wanting to be one but short of 1cm..heheh...In my mind Police are righteous. sopan-santun. berbudi bahasa. But i will not let this one scumbag to ruin my perception.

I always kinda thot that the gov salary hikes should go more to the forces like police, army, teachers. But for this one PUKIMAK, im a tax=payer, 7 keturunan ko aku tak halal. Starting this month, aku wat PCB ZAKAT, so, 1cent pun tak pegi kat ko, jahanam.

Talking about Kajang, we went to install Hydrofuel. Yes, Hydrofuel. The cost is RM300.00 + PoMEN fee RM30. tGK LA HASIL CAMANA.

tiba2....

Tiba2 Yat nak pi KK. Apsal ntah. honeymoon? jenuhla aku menanya kakak aku soklan2 standard seperti hotel mana, tamu katner, mcm mana nak pi pulau manukan. maklumla, aku nama je sabahan tapi satu hapa aku tatau. Good luck yat. share ur xperience later babe.

tiba2 aku rajin tulis mende2 kat blog. tgh rajin. kang MIA, susah plak.

For the umpteenth time aku and sofiya kat hosp putrajaya. apa lagi, appointment physiotherapy la. She can sit down now. Still cant walk tho. nvmd that. A fellow mummy who's son, Shafi, who also attends the regular physios session, intends to hire a personal massager for her son. Maybe i should too. Maybe.

Tonite is the oLYMPICS opening act. Cari2 punya cari, rupa2nya, kat RTM1 je, 8.30pm. ASTRO is having olympics shows at 816 or sumthing. so, anyone who's a subscriber to sports package, can watch em. i never knew that. I also read something about the pix and videos being uploaded to the internet illegally. Apparently, all the participants must sign a legally binding contracts of confidentiality. Failing which, face a 7 years imprisonment. wow!!! to that extend aaa?

On the other side of the world, Romeo Beckham can kick ball just like his father and it becomes the news. I guess, some people are really2 waiting for the lil Beckham to show his talents, huh? It is said that he kicking style just like the father's. Whatever.

Locally, Mom's care outlet , the biggest i think- opens in Ikano, damanasara. The stuff soldunder this flagship are all nice, but pricey. So, cheapskate peple like me, it's off my radar. I did buy sofiya's MacLaren stroller in Mothercare.Oh kuso!!!! Im totally talking about a different shop now. I thot i was talking about Mothercare. The one in Ikano is Mom's care. Mom's care? i can afford. Mothercare? i cant!
Why, mothecare sells things RM50Mand above. Mom's care, you can find the price in all ranges. They're promoting the Babisil bottles, supposedly chemical free. Ceh, i wanna buy not because of the property but i just love buying things for baby. cheaper the better. haha. Salmiah will love this. she loves milk bottles. i wonder if those r for the baby or for her? hmmm..

Petit Gems has also landed in Ikano. The new halal-certified products (by HMC- Halal Monitoring Committee in UK) consists of bottled baby food in both veggies, fruits and meat. well both Babisil and Petit Gems ae from the UK and the xr woulde be by RM6 X 4.65 (for 6 jars of food) = RM 30+-...The bottle price would be £ 15.00 x 6 = rm90.00 for 2 6oz bottles. ooopppsss....

what about the hysteria in KL yesterday? SMK Tanjung? where in KL is that? aaa...dont bother...i must say. HDSPA in putrajaya hospital is superb. i can surf the net w/o being DC and the speed is very2 laju..skyline pun kalah..

~ Live strong~

i can't say i know what is happening to our fellow Homosapiens in Iraq nor can i say they are having a good life. I do hope so. Everyone has the right to education, to a good life, to food, to health, one way or another. Nor has anyone has the right to declare " oh!!! i'm bored this week let's invade another country!!!". Hence, a glimpse into an Iraqi life, an Iraqi Girl, would provide maybe not the whole truth, but "days of her life". Sunshine narrates her stories so well that reading her latest entry made me...sad. Here, we all attended if not the best, at least a proper school, without having the fear of having being shot in the head on the way to school.Or on bad days, couldn't even reach the school because the roads leading to it are closed. what do we have? the most is, traffic jam or arrive late because the bus "pancit".
Reading sunshine's blog will not only shed some light on what she has to go through on her 16th year of life, but it also will help us gain empathy, sympathy or ,maybe even instilling some humility in us. good read, i must say.

Aug 8th, another physiotherapy appointment for Sofiya. Update: she's a lil bit taller. still cant walk tho. well, i have officially exhausted all my 17.5days annual leave this year. kumpul duit raya bebudak le...hehe/..yelah, unpaid leave kan ;)

Que Sera Sera-updated!!!

Update. Yeah..it was sad alrite. I did manage to hold my tears during the tea-break.
However, when she came up to everyone , 1 by 1, i couldn't hold it anymore. i was speechless. didnt even manage to utter a word.waaaa....but it's for the best. She needs to be close to hubby, esp Aqir is already in the pix. She manages to get a job at a semi-con company. Good for her. I have nothing else to say except best of luck to her and family. Another alumni in the group.

______________________________________________________
what a sad day today's gonna be.
Suhana's last day with TW today, Aug 4th.
She has been a good cubicle neighbour and the one who has to listen to all my silly jokes, constant annoying singing and stupid faces i do churn out everyday.
Things will never be the same.
It's true thatn you will only cherish people or things when they're lost. IN this case, i will still see her today and god, i know what i will be missing.
Suhana Sahul Hameed is one tough chick, now a devoted wife and mother. When some people will bow to office pressure, she won't. no matter what, she will put a brave facade. I remembered the week when her mother was sick and eventually passed away, she came back to the office as if nothing has happened. I was the one who felt guilty when i played all the Hari Raya songs.
She sure got herself a will of steel too. When she was about to get married, she went on a healthy diet and always bring home-cooked meal. Her reasons: to look good on her wedding day and to save $$ for the wedding. Hubby sure got himself a good woman.

well, we've pooled some $$ for her and i've bought things for her baby & she herself for her to remember us by. We 're gonna throw a farewell tea for her today. Seems like, i would be bz...monday..
