Mee kari @Curry Mee ...i totally whipped it up on my own k. It wasn't as hard as i thot yeah, now that i know. From the perspective of someone who never even tried to cook Mee Kari, yes, it is a lil harder at first since you'll be wondering what on earth would you dunk in the gravy since it looks "crowded".. Well, after trying, try asking the same Qs again and you'll be amazed how terer you are at cooking.
As usual, hubby would eat anything i cook but i can expect 2 comments from him - either good or ................, means it's bad and he won't take bite. Next dish was Sayur Lodeh@Vegetables in Coconut Milk can someone verify this..wakaka..also not as hard as i thought. best eaten with Ketupat/nasi impit, i paired it with ketupat nasi adabi. don't have the time to anyam the ketupat, don't we + i don't even have a clue how to anyam one.
for appetizers + dessert, i made cocktail caramel & bubur kacang hijau. couldn't test whether the taste was ok so i made adam taste the food for me. his reaction "bolela....but sugar dah ok" urgh...so, ok, as long as it's sweet enough...what's kacang hijau in english..dung bean? green bean?
my guests of the day were Lee Na & Lin. i told them not to buy food from ramadhan bazaar and that was excatly what they did. well, they did take some of it home..
i'm so looking forward whipping up new menus...maybe next weekend...

haa.....finally, 1st day of Ramadhan. Things went as usual except i have to wake up a tad earlier for Sahur. Masa sahur mmg aku nih jenis wallap nasi la. klu ada ikan goreng panas+garing, nasi putih and lada + kicap, alhamdulillah, it completes my day. So last night i prepared fruits, air sirap nata de coco and caramel cocktail. at least, today klu pegi pasar ramadhan, maybe i will just beli kuih, itupun klu ada kuih tradisional yg menarik hati. frankly, aku nih bukak posa ngan kurma, nasi putih + lauk sejenis pun dh cukup. takde kuih pun takpe. lg pun i don't have to worry about not having food for puasa, insyaallah my hubby will go and kalah fomfuan bab2 beli makanan nih...i tell u, mmg dia rambang mata. I've been encouraging Adam to puasa this year. he says he will but if he's thirsty pukul 2 kang mcm mana he said. i wanted to laugh but as the matriarch of the family, i must be firm on this. so, this morning he confirmed that he will puasa today except exactly at 7.10am today, he minum ribena...hahah. and he looked at me "adam puasa kan?" and without further ado, he returned the bottle into the fridge.hmmm....go figure...

Story of Assam Gelugor @ Keping

ok, i've been meaning to post this pics but whut to do, kdg2 lupa, kdg malas, most of the time no time....ok, ini buah aa..is the fresh version of Asam Keping @ Asam Gelugor. Ala, klu masak laksa penang ka, ikan asam pedas ka..kita letak la asam keping yg rupanya hitam tuh tapi sebenornya itula penyedap masakan. er...dlm asam pedas kita letak ke bende nih?? haha..gambar nih aku tangkap kat Tganu and mmg 1st time beb tgk buah nih. according to pacik yg menjual tu, buah nih klu nk guna masa fresh pun lagi ok...potong nipis2, jgn bnyk sgt, then campak je dlm masakan..ala, mcm aku buat. agak2 hari tuh aku masak pedas @ guna cili giling, aku letakla asam keping @ asam jawa. agak2 hari tuh aku masak lemak, aku letakla gula sikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit bagi dia lagi naik lemak, agak2 masak sup sayur, aku campakla halba bagi rasa dia lain mcm sikit..bende2 masakan nih ikut kreativiti kita. dan sesedap rasa. mgkn org lain kata x sedap. yg penting laki & anak aku kata sedap atau setidak2 nya it's edible hikhikhik...

The latest baby to Malaysian army

This armor car is very2 new and the latest addition to the army. Well, impressive. i was there @ KL International tatoo spending my Saturday. There were a whole lot of army peeps there. good thing is my fren bought the ticket for us earlier. Reached Stadium Merdeka around 4.30++pm. a tad too early. We had char kuay teow before hitting the exhibition. It was, well, i mean the char kuay teow is edible. that's it. nothing more i could say about it let alone praise the taste. Then, off we go to the exhibition. I was impressed. i saw the internal area of the armor car for the first time in my life and i could say, stuffy!!....how on earth would these peeps last in there?? imagining myself in it, somewhere in deserty country...urghh..not gonna happen..well, i'm gonna attach some slideshow of the events there. KL International tatoo?? did i miss anything? there was only one bike i saw for the whole night. yes, it's the malaysian team and they're supposed to break the record recently but i cudn't catch up. and....in the middle of the show, there was this acrobatics @ gymnastics where these men jumped synchronized-ly. but overall, it was not a tatoo show!! it was more to brass bands' show!! hmm..how many countries there were? Jordan, India, Scotland, US Fleet, Brunei (impressive show) and many more incld Malaysian. So far, the best is still Brunei, entertaining. Scotland team was predictable as i expected some "William Wallace" songs..what? dunno who William is? watch Braveheart not?..ow ok...the infamous song was also played. Nice to hear but i was totally sleepy. poor sofiya, it was drizzling. lucky i did bring my jacket and she was safe and sound wrapped in the jacket. Some good samaritans offered their umbrella seeing i had a baby with me. I refused the nice offer and i am glad to know as there are still good peeps around.hooray...ok..India team - sorry i keep mentioning their country of origin name as i can't remember their full name. all these teams are from their own armed forces i.e. navy. So ok - India team even played the soundtrck of Kabhi Kushi Kabhi gham in the scene where Kajol is praying around the house. yeah i recognized the song coz i love that movie....ok..whatuever, watch the slideshow la...i'll put it up later..I JUST DID..

ok, just in case ur wondering "what's up with the monorail"? that was my 1st time. clinge here, clank there..pretty scary, dun u think? LRT is by far better..excep there's no other trains going to Stadium merdeka except monorail *sigh*

nak demam ke tak?

mcm nak demam. dah 4 hari aku sakit kepala tp aku tahan sebab masih buli tahan. tp mlm ni rasa lembik sgt. ni pun blog dr atas katil sambil baring sambil tgk CSI Vegas. hUH...mmg best. CSI mmg fave aku ranking from CSI Vegas, Miami then NY. Maybe sebab Grissom & team on air dulu kot. Grissom is so cool, Catherine symbolises women's power, Sarah is genius at its best, Warrick is macho and Stokes gives the impression of a brat who worked hard enuff to be where he is today. and the love story btw Gil & Sarah? romantic in its own way. "This is about brain &brawn" is the comment for tonight as Sarah thinks Hannah planned the murder and did it. wutever. argh. sakit kepala. mcm mana nk baik klu i can't even calm this messy head of mine. when my head is cloudy, i could even wear baju terbalik pegi kerja. tgk nih ha. klu org kat pantry x tegur on that faithful morning, i wud be wearing baju terbalik for longer.ok.out

finally.

dah lama aku tak melawat jajahan aku nan satu nih. banyak bende aku nk citer tapi aku simply xde masa. tapi mlm nih, aku ada masa sikit seblom aku beradu. xleh lelama sebab aku dh 2 hari bangun lambat. tak lambat utk aku pegi keje, tapi lambat utk mamat tuh.choyyyyyyyyyyy.......mcm mana tergerak hati utk memblog? sebab nya ada 1. : Iklan kat tv. aku ske tgk iklan rasa sayang kat tv. rasa bangga pulak jdk rakyat mesia nih. respek la sapa nya idea tuh. aku tergelak gak bila part bahasa dusun tuh. betul ke grammar dusun tuh? hikhik. aku ske lagu tuh version iklan tuh. leh donlod kat www.rasasayang.com.my. Iklan lagi satu, iklan teh boh yang baru. Ada Candy ngan Ebi siot. aku x malu kata aku mmg folo AF..dari dulu smpi skang. taklah sehebat Sultan Muzaffar tuh tp aku folo la. diari harian aku tgk gitu2 je. itupun klu x clash ngan citer lain. konsert time, mmg tgk la. masa tuh aku bnyk gakla miss Cerekarama kat TV3. Gave aku zaman berzaman slot tuh. back to AF, 1/2 org tuh kata x minat tp dlm diam2 folo gaks AF..choy...tau gak psl artis2 AF.kata x minat. ntahla. pedulik la apa org kata. bukan depa bayar bil astro haku pun. laki akuuuuu gak yg bayar. back to iklan Boh tadik. aku tergelak gak tgk iklan tuh. Zahid ngan Mila main watak awek+balak kot then Candy & Ebi pujuk dgn bagi teh. Terus mood Mila ok kononnya. hahaha. yo'oh la tuh klu aku, ubatnya nescafe kaw la.dh lama aku x tgk budak2 AF4 nih sebab aku x baca sgt majalah2 hiburan. Bukan tanak, budget tadak. aku monthly mesti beli Malaysian women's weekly, Mastika and salah satu majalah parenting i.e. Pa&Ma. knp aku baca majalh2 nih esp Mastika yg org kata majalah x ilmiah? aku punya suka la hikhik. sapa kata Mastika x vast. depa dpt anugerah kewartawanan apa.aku x ingat apa award tuh. maklumla. RAM aku dari 1GB dah jadik 64MB.
Sebenarnya aku agak penat skang. Sofiya dah 6mth++. Kdg2 penat gak esp bila ab nk bg tdo mlm and bangun awal sejam dari jadual harian ku. nak susulah, apa lagi.
