Abseiling+Canyoning (+trekking+camping)

Barely 2 weeks after my camping santai at Teluk Batek, on 21st July night, we joined another convoy to Berkelah, Maran, Pahang.

Eventnye:
Date: 22-23 July 2011
Venue: Hutan Lipur Berkelah Maran, Pahang
Activity: Abseiling, Canyoning, Camping, TRekking.
Cost: RM150.00 + RM50 /pax (Fuel+Toll on sharing basis) FULL BOARD. (FOOD, tents provided)
Organiser: Kalakatu Outdoor @ Mimi Zuliana.

Nope, this is not camping santai. hence, i didn't really invite the rest of the usual pack.
Mula2 taknak pegi pun...lepas camping tuh, terus nekad nak pegi. Pastuh tag c syed and tanya c anas.
hmm...dua2 ikut jugak. okla ada member..

After work terus blah pegi PETRONAS gombak for dinner and tunggu the convoy members.
mak aiii...depa neh ikut jam brazil agaknya. Janji jam 8. Jam 11 baru gerak.
tapi memandangkan kami neh ikut convoy orang, duduk jek la atas tar tuh.lepak.nasib baek aku tak duduk atas highway.

Mulalah sesi berkenalan dengan is Zil, bro Aero, Sis Mimi, Dal, Amyz, Shima, Fiza, Pijon, Ani, Ciwan, Khalid, Sofian to name a few tak termasuk guide (dan anot2 yg ada)..hahah

In our trip, we abseil down the rock in below pics. Untuk aku yg gayat, awal2 mmg payah nak pujuk diri tp bila dah dok bawah tuh...ok la....sikit.


Yang canyoning plak...hampeh...aku mmg taknak buat dah masa tuh...kena psycho dgn Syed and Anas..so, last2 buat la...

We started convoy kat Gombak sampai Berkelah. Park keta kat area restoran tuh.
Ada nearby Masjid so bleh tumpang bersihkan diri and tukar baju.
apa buat sini? Kemas barang and bahagikan barang sama rata. Barang apa?
Barang dapur especially. MAKNANYA, peserta pun kena bawak sebab tukang masak dah x cukup tgn. Pastuh letak beg dalam lori, jalan gi Pintu masuk Sg Berkelah.

Pastuh bila seme dah sampai, lepas briefing and doa (penting tuh), trekking started. Since jalan basah, ada gak ornag terpeleot la..tp x siyes. tp jalan agak mencabar. Kalau tangan tak free (aka bwk barang), susah sikit nak gerak. Headlamp a must ye. gelap. dalma hutan kot. Bukan BB walk neh.
Trekking took about 45 minutes.

Then sampai campsite.naikkan khemah (aku & syed bwk khemah sendirik), pastuh tido jap.

Area Masak

Kul 7 dah bangun sebab nak book tempat bersih2kan diri, Kami yg pompuan neh panggil "sesi jangan pandang belakang". hahah..faham2la...tepi sungai kot..manade toilet mcm kat Chilling & Teluk Batek...then after breakfast, continue with Abseiling & Canyoning.

Wa memang cuak.Tak dapat dinafikan. cuak seyyyyyyy....tapi yg penting, dengar briefing, follow apa guide cakap and insyaallah, everything's gonna be ok (eventho selepas ko hempap guide..hahah).Yg penting, guide hot2 dude.tak caya? klu ko ada add wa kat FB, lu tau la...hahah..

Lepas setel, lunch then, lepak la...pe lagi...bercerita, berkenal2an, berlompat2an, dan bertiduran pun ada...

masa camping, ada jugak hujan. kalau single layer, mmg tapaula khemah tuh..

2nd day aka Last day, pagi tuh pegi trekking ke atas. Waterfall Berkelah neh ada 7 tingkat. Kami camping kat 3rd kolam kot..ye ke...ada mausk paper hari tuh..gambar dak2 neh sommersault pun ada..
tapi neh depa bwk group lain la..

tgk pix suda...trekking 45 minutes jugak..one way oke..brp lama kat atas,terpulang..ikut berapa lama korang nak lompat, berenang, bericnta masa trekking dan ikut jgak berapa lama bersajak pantun segala...wahahahha...yela..maklumla..dah kena tinggal dek kawan2 yg kata awal kata "kita jaga group kita, jangan pecah".choyy...

petang dlm 3pm, trekking turun bawah TAPI ROUTE LAIN. x sehorror route naik...adoila....best...
balik convoy gak tp tinggal 5 keta...singgah R&R Temerloh je...pastuh jumpa jap kat Tol Karak & Gombak then pecah..

biasala..setiap convoy mesti ada ups & downs..ada kelebihan & kekurangan..tp kita terima seadanya as experience...lagi2 bila ikut group orang..kita ikut rentak..ok anot2 sekalian?

rasa mcm dah berkurun tak update blog..tp last entry...June 2011.tak lah lama mana pun.
so,mcm biasa. kaki tak senang duduk mesti carik activity kan.

jadinye, 9-10 July pegila camping santai kat Teluk Batik.

Area pantai ke area chalet?
Besar bezanya tuh. sebab:

Area Pantai:
1. Public toilet tutup kul 9mlm.
2. Betul2 tepi laut (best)
3. terlalu open.
4. free.

Area chalet:
1. Socket, toilet, segala 24 hours.
2. Privacy sikit.
3. xlah jauh sgt dr beach.
4. RM10/kapla.

last2, kitaorang pilih area chalet Impian. Yg penting, kemudahan yg aku sebut kat atas ada & bersih.
Alaa...camping santai kot...bukan hardcore sampai nk kena korek lubang wat..paham2 jek la..

camping santai pun, preparation kena betul gak especially mende2 yg diguna ramai..controh, tarp tuk area masak, serving plates+containers, enough drinking water, rations...selalunya, bab2 neh + collect duit+sediakan bhn mentah +shoot2 email aku yang setelkan.

bab2 itinerary+timing + convoy arrangement syed setelkan, bab2 masak, aku tgk sapa yg join.
Slalunya aku mintak tolong2 anak2 dara geng2 nita, ili, ana, etc.Sebab klu camping santai, ramai yg pegi.

 

Tp convoy kali neh ke TB mmg best, informative, membuka mata dan....membuat aku demam.
convoy kali neh sampai 8 keta..average 4 orang. ramai tuuuu...
malam2 buta ikut budak2 neh gi beach fishing...best jugak mancing neh..lagi2 bila ada kwn...
tp aku tak ble mancing kot...abis patah joran2 tuh aku buat..

route kami? Since we ol bertolak dr Glenmarie (office obviously) , we ol ikut Guthrie then the new highway, Latar, then jalan lama Kuala Sgor sampai ke Lumut. Balik pun mcm tuh.

makan tengahri kitaorang berhenti kat kedai area TB jugak...glamer kedai tuh...lupa nk snap pix food dia...sebab? sambal belacan pun siap dah letak dlm pinggan cenonet asing2 ha..kiut!!!

roadblock? xyah citer la banyaknye sebabkan BERSIH 2.0 tuh kan..balik pun ikut jalan yg sama except terlajak gi ijok sikit sebab budak2 neh nk belasah doyan...aku x makan sgt sebab sora dah rock gitu..
tp aku sempat sambar seketul..SEKETUL ok, bukan sebijik ha...hambek ko...terus demam...

all in all...it wa a good trip...sebab kalau dah beach area, banyakla mende leh buat...:D Ngeeeeeeeeeeee..

The : First Day at work

Ok. I was jilted. By a junior staff. But that was a few months ago.
She simply didn't turn up for work one day and tadaa...went missing for about 2 weeks.
Should i wait? Nayyy..2 weeks was generous enough.
Some of the junior engineers even got the cheek to say that i pampered her too much.
Hmm..put yourself in my shoes then tell me how it was. Ingat senang ke nak supervise orang?
Budak tuh dah la lemah lembut. Takkan aku nak jerkah dia. Kang pengsan, sapa susah?
Kau? tak kot.

So, since TW is quite lenient, we didn't pursue the case like crazy.
When the registered letter came back unclaimed, that was it.
Off i went to find the replacement.

Today, i was jilted again. Well, this time it's a He and i should have listened to my heart.
He didn't report to work last week, due to some family matter.
Ho didn't report to work yesterday for the very same reason.
Today? no sms, no calls, nada.

That's it.

Finding people to hire takes patience and preserverance.
Nih kalah2 nak pegi masuk hutan , dok 2 minggu and kelaparan.
I think handling a group of OKU kids is far easier!!

I thought hiring a 30ish yo guy will give me less headache. But wait a minute..
The she was a youngy2 below 25yo. She also gave me headache one.
So how? some people say, listen to your heart, instinct and reasons.

The FAMEkids

Recently, i've joined an independent group which i;d like to call support group for mommies like me and kids like oya :D.
They had some sort of launching few months ago siap ber-artis lagi and at that point of time, i didn;t know this group exist.

Well, i've put the link on my page on the right hand side and they also have a page in facebook.
So, if you;re a supporter or wanna join the group, i guess all are welcomed.

For members, we even have a closed page for us only.
I kinda appreciate the founder as i can actually askaway anything and express almost everything in the page.
The best thing is, we understand each other and hence we kinda can give the right supprt and encourage each other accordingly.hey, we're in the same boat, aren't we?
Truly, only those facing the same situation will undestand better.
Others? yep, they may and i hope they continue to do so but not as good as these made of steel mommies.

Nevertheless, give the due support to this group and other group as well.
They need it. We need it. I need it.
