...stuff!!! hence the title, this is gonna be a jumble of everything i have in my genius head at the moment... The event above was Hashim's birthday @ Aug 24th 08 @ Sek 6, SA. The food was nice and the majlis was brief and simple. Hilarious tho. For some people, befriending "soft people" or popularly known as pondan @ mak nyah is simply a sin. For a start, when a guy is soft in both the way he speaks and acts, it does not mean that he is ah kua @ pondan @ transsexual. Maybe he was simply born with it and there's nothing he can do to change it. No doubt that some of them (now becoming popular) has become full-time ah kua but it does not apply to the majority. I do concur that friends may shape who we become and hence may lead one to become whoever we may not intended to be. well, for the above bunch of people, i don't really take the idea that they're pondan!! some of them simply act like it because: 1. well, people will still they are becoz they're soft!! 2. to impress their friends. i know few of them who are happily married, left their drag show days behind, and are expecting a child!! But, they remain who they are, soft spoken, minus the make-up. Now, who are we, really, to judge these people? I strongly say that being a bisexual, transsexual (with the exception of Khunsa - dual gender) and even lesbian are against Islam and infact, every religion in the world (citation needed). but, to befriend them is not a sin. In my case, the forged friendship with some of this species has open up my eyes to the world, add colours to my life and definitely add varieties to my vocab!! Anyway, Sofiya was wearing the new dress daddy bought. I was and am impressed by his choice in under 5 minutes!! he could really express-shop!! on another subject ~ i have completed both world's wonders 1 & 2 and the above are my latest addition.

right: Sears tower, Chicago. easy. i've used the stapler for easy imagination of the height and width of the miniatures.
The tower has 108 stories as counted by standard methods, though the building owners count the main roof as 109 and the mechanical penthouse roof as 110. The distance to the roof is 1,454 feet (443 m), measured from the east entrance. Sears Tower was the world's tallest building from 1974 to 1998. - wikipedia.
left: Minato Mirai 21 , Yokohama , Japan. From the info on the packaging box of the puzzle, it is written hat it boasts the fastest elevator in the world, 45mph. wow!!!

Next, is non other than the Great wall of China, Beijing. since this is only a miniature, it is very2 mini and small. This time, i use the staples' box as comparison. very2 easy.

series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 6th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. Several walls, referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC. The most famous is the wall built between 220–200 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang; little of it remains; it was much farther north than the current wall, which was built during the Ming Dynasty.[2] The Great Wall stretches over approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles)[3] from Shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, but stretches to over 6,700 km (4,160 miles) in total - wikipedia.

Mini Golden Gate bridge of San Fransisco. very2 easy. again, i se the staples' box instead of the stapler itself as comparison.

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay onto the Pacific Ocean. As part of both U.S. Route 101 and State Route 1, it connects the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge had the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937 and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California - wikipedia.

This is Gyeonghoeru Pavilion of Gyongbokkung Palace of Seoul. Level of difficulty: medium-more-towards-easy.

It is gazetted as (national treasure number 224), which stands in an artificial lotus lake, resting on 48 granite pillars. The pavilion is depicted on the 10,000 won Korean banknotes. Clearly, the manufacturer of the puzzle has made a mistake by stating that this is the Gyeongbok Palace (경복궁, Gyeongbokgung) (said to be the largest wooden architecture in Korea).

The bluish Eiffel Tower is a bonus i guessn a bigger size of the same miniature is already featured in Box 1 and in my earlier post. However, the small tower is waaayyyy harder to put together compared to the bigger one. Of course, the pieces are smaller and triangle foundation is especially a pain in the wutever.

my whole collections consists of Box No 1 (5 miniatures), Box No 2 (8 miniatures) and White House (single).

For the singles, i have done White house and in the midst of constructing below Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. 98 pcs in total !!! hope i can be done before Ramadhan is over. There are many more to build, i cant wait. Mimie (anndee) already expressed her willingness to be the next owner should i want to throw these away. hmmm..we'll c how it goes. at the moment, i'm displaying the pieces in my office and we already called the area as Exhibition Hall. I dont think i can put these at home. sofiya just cant wait to chew em and Adam is not interested. nmaybe later...
