We went to Equine park to makan nasi dagang!!! it's 1 of the nicest around. Klu raya, confirm my fren nih (mak dia actually) buat nasi dagang, nasi minyak, laksam, Terengganu's traditional dish la..walaweh i tell you. for sure, anybody wud just 4get about their diet for a day!!...so, this fren of mine set up a stall in a restaurant called" warung pak maidin" in Equine park..nice i tell you...RM3.50 per set c/w nasi dagang, acar timun and of course, gulai ikan tongkol (ikang aya some might call hikhik)...
reminds me of my lunch last saturday in Cosy Corner, Alamanda, Putrajaya...it was...a bar above ok according to my gauge, The Nasi Ayam set was ok however, Adam didn't complete the mission of savouring the whole of it...lotsa chicken...
Hubby got himself NZ Lamb Chop which was quite dry...i didn't even bother to try...as far as i can remember, i never had any lamb meat in my mouth...he asked for a black-pepper sauce to make it taste better..guess we are not orang puteeee enuff la..heh...
...and as for the Queen, i had NZ Asparagus sirloin steak...i think it was better than the LC..i liked the asparagus tho being fried with butter to its superb succulent yet crunchy taste...however, the steak tasted better with the BPS..again, i may not be orang putee enuff to really appreciate the taste. anyway, i malas nk complain banyak becos i asked for "super very2 well done"..then why on earth wud my steak still oozing with blood in the middle? urghhhh..i specifically mentioned "masak to the core"...aiya...maybe i'm better off with sambal belacan, ikan goreng, nasi putih la...
last but not least, we had prawn dish..i can't remember the name but it was the best amongst all we ordered for the day...prawn tuh kena belah kat tengah and fried..it was presented in such a way that ppl can easily eat 'em with ease if using fork, spoon, knife..with hands? no need to mention la..so, my hubby said maybe i could do something like this and i totally agree. y? becos i think the sauce was not that special.it tasted more like the oil used to fry the prawns..LOL..the price for the above? i give you a hint...the chicken rice set costs me RM8.00 w/o service tax..the rest, u imagine la...
the highlight f my day was, sofiya cud actually be in the car seat without throwing any tantrums at all.....yay.....she even had a good sleep..at least i thot so...
