~Selamat Sampai & Selamat Kembali~

Salam

sampai jugak aku sekeluarga di Terengganu , saturday, Sept 27 2008.
We've decided to bertolak pagi sebab aku masih teringat2 timing belt putus masa balik raya back in 2006. tgh sarat mengandung tuh. miahaha...

anyway, sampai je petang tuh, serang luh Bazaar ramadhan Kuala Ibai. alaaa..dekat Masjid terapung tuh la. Well, as usual , food is abundant.Compared to yesterday
punya Pasar minggu cum Bazaar
Ramadhan kat Tmn Permint Jaya , nih, jauh mercun dari lampu pelita. Sempat jugaklah bersiar2 di Taman Shahbandor kata org sini. gi tgk, in my own words, pesta menjual membeli belah di malam hari bulan ramadhan. Ada jgk brg yg aku tgk overrated. T-Shirt tiruan Hackett London berharga RM150.00? COME ON PEOPLE!!!! printed shirts kedai stationary even looks more realistic tawww!!! Print dia mcm @#$@#$#@ tuh pun nk jual ke? are you guys that desperate? meh aku tolong belikan yg ori dgn harga RM150 jugak. nih kes kirim kat kwn2 yg terbang selalu la...cuma time frame nye, tatau bila...ahaks..

anyway, went to Klinik Kho. Clinic again. Yesterday, if counted continuously, Sofiya having her fever for the 12th days. tapi her fever on-off jugak. But now, she got bad batuk. kesian. if only i could make the pain go away. or at least transfer it to me.
so, untuk mengisi masa lapang, aku wat2 online scrapbooking. mcm post kat bawah and the one i did for Ira and Jay.free beb. tapi, of course, x realistic.

tahun nih, baju raya aku ada.......unintentionally sebenornye. 1 pasang memang dah plan. set ke-dua, aku ter-beli masa g carik baju kakak ipar aku. The 3rd one, bought at the same place at no 2 :D but had to because aku ada 2 kain batik rege RM10 tapi aku suka sgt and aku nk jadikan kain. So, aku sent the 2 to tailors (yg maha lembap tapi hensem :P)...yg penting, aku dpt seblom raya. the 4th one, memandangkan aku ada kain batik extra, aku ingat nk pakai ngan blouse ala2 kebaya aku yg dha bertahun tuh. tapi, hari tuh accidentally bought, again and voila, 4 pairs. nevermind la. bukan aku selalu buat baju raya. Tgk baju2 kak rose, jeles aku. sepanjang bulan posa, kak rose pakai baju kurung and changing everyday. next aim? muhahaha...

so, tgh nak prepare apa2 yg patutla nih. tadik aku basuh baju kurung sofiya yg 2 pasang tuh. duit raya dha masuk sket. nk pi tolong2 kat dapur plak. tanak la dpt title the imbecile daughter-in-law.:D...

pIX: Taman Shahbandor Kuala Terengganu. Exclusive Toilet (50cent / entry) and lip-lap lampu..KT banadaya ye? aku x pasan :P..

Food from Bazaar Ramadhan SS18 Subang Jaya.

The top one is called BRIK. A food originated from the East. It has something like mashed potato and an egg as the filling. The flour will be rolled in front of your eyes, then comes the mashed potato and the egg. Then off it goes into the boiling hot frying pan. Tastes soo good while hot. RM2/pc and i'd say it's worth it.I think the seller is from Bosnia or something. The daughter speaks fluent malay though.

The 2nd food is a colourful array of Roti Jala. sold by 3 arab-mixed pretty sisters (i think so). Frankly, i was drawn tot heir stall because they're pretty!! Not that im a lesbo or something. Then, this one catches my eyes. Not only the Roti Jala comes in variant colours, the chicken curry is also delicious. RM2/Set of 5, also worth it.

This one is a local Terengganu poridge. It must have the i-dunno-what-daun-is-that or else, it's just like any other Bubur Lambuk. The leaves give its speciality and it tastes good. RM2/Bowl, well ok larrrr..

that's all my fave for Puasa 2008. The rest, nayyyy...just the same.

My Little Trip To Banting

Banting, Selangor. Home of ....crap. i don't know. I just go there for my kerepek stock. BUsiness quite good this year. Alhamdulillah. Thank you my customer!!! Anyway, it was only the first week of puasa and the stores in Banting were already tuning to Raya songs. Dang, i like this town. oww..a pic of Sunway arch accidentally included up there. not in Banting..haha. I found Banting..a cosy town. same feeling i get when going through Kuala Terengganu town. Minus the traffic. It's busier in Banting. I like Banting.

Buah Tgn sambil menunggu

seeds, originally uploaded by skybetaversion.

well, everytime i came to Putrajaya Hosp for Sofiya's appt, my laptop will tag along. I also dunno why. It seems like it has a brain of its own...haha.
i will bring one. Just like this afternoon, while waiting for dear hubby, i've managed to create above photo by editing using PICNIK & PICASA2 and mosaic maker BIGHUGELAB.

At least, i had something to do rather than gawking at people. well, given much time, i would have completed my rantings at a certain forum but...owhh...hubby's on the way. mata ne.

P/S Kak Yan? Azean Irdawati? well, she kinda played with Sofiya a little. Bumped into her in the Hosp today. she looks ok, i guess.

dewa mata, for real!!!!

i must see. The 10th Kingdom

It's aired every Tuesday on Hallmark (ch 702) every Tuesday starting 2nd September 08 at 10pm -12midnite and repeats the next day (Wed) 10am-12noon. damn it!!!

The Tenth Kingdom

nce upon a time, Prince Wendell, the Grandson of Snow White, was magically transformed into a dog by an evil queen who wanted his kingdom for herself. He managed to escape from her captivity by passing through a magical mirror that led to New York City, henceforth, known as the Tenth Kingdom! Here Prince Wendell met a waitress named Virginia and her janitor father. The queen, however, wanted him back, so she sent forth a wolf and three trolls to re-capture him. But when 'Wolf' fell in love with Virginia.. the rest was pure magic - from the 11th Kingdom (the fan club of The 10th Kingdom).

A young woman named Virginia (Kimberly Williams) and her father, Tony (John Larroquette) are lured into a land where fairy tales are real! But the adventure is only beginning for the longer they stay in fairy tale land the more their lives become one. Written by Anonymous

Two centuries after Snow White and Cinderella had their adventures, the Nine Kingdoms ready themselves for the coronation of Prince Wendel, Snow White's grandson, to the throne of the Fourth Kingdom. But an evil once-queen has freed herself from prison, and turns the prince into a golden retriever. Wendel, by means of a magic mirror, escapes into a hitherto-unknown Tenth Kingdom (modern day New York City) and meets Virginia and her father Tony. Pursued by trolls, cops, and a wolf in man's form, the three blunder back into the Nine Kingdoms and begin their adventures to restore Wendel to his human form and throne, and find the magic mirror that will take Tony and Virginia back home, all the while unknowing that Virginia already has a connection to the Nine Kingdoms that may prove deadly before we reach Happily Ever After. My [mad] twin

While my twin was keeping herself busy by cleaning up the bedroom (out of a sudden), i was amused by Aznil's antique in Tom-Tom Bak. He sounded more like Indons when in reality he was trying to converse in Sabah slang. haha. mana ada bah kamiurang cakap mcm tuh. bikin gali. Sia heran jugak. kanapa kdg2 orang bilang kami cakap macam Indon when clearly we don't!! Anyway, this week show were filled by sabahan children and i wonder why. Maybe ASTRO did put all the applications from Sabahans, chose the best, and decided to call them all in for 1 show. We had Tarian Bajau (I think la), alaaa...yg pilipin punya tuh bah...we had storyteller and we also had a funny lil boy who spoke in sabah slang the entire show. bravo!!!

Talking about show, i managed to watch The Other Boleyn Girl.

It's a story set in Tudor England and it involves the royalties. The casts? see above posters..ahaks. Boleyn Families are of Low-class level of the Royal Family and hence, the girls can only be either Lady-In-waiting (PA /Personal Maid) or be a mistress. It's about a truce between two sisters in capturing King Henry VIII's Heart in which Anne Boleyn (believed to be the eldest, not George) managed to but later only to be executed for having an incestuous affair with George. Now, Anne was portrayed as an ambitious lady who wants the Queen's throne. However, how would so since Queen Catherine (Catherine of Aragon) was there and then, the Queen's favorite Lady-in-waiting as the mistress. Somewhere own the storyline and history, Anne managed to marry King Henry and later executed. Mary? well, she married a commoner. Her misrable life is depicted in another novel by Philippa Gregory is a 2004 "The Queen's Fool". It's good to note that Queen Mary I was a daughter by King Henry and Queen Katherine while Queen Elizabeth was a daughter by King Henry and Anne Boleyn. Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon, and Catherine Carey, Lady Knollys, were the offspring of either King Henry or William Carey with Mary Boleyn. so, we'll never know!!!

Ok, now my fave kinda movie - The War of The Dragon.

Jason Behr starred in this Korean movie and i like it on the basis that it based on a dragon folklore. haha. Korean Dragon are supposed to have 4 toes. Legend has it that a Chinese Dragon was walking towards south when it started to lose its toes on by one. Hence, Chinese Dragon has 5 toes, Korean Dragon has 4 toes and Japanese Dragon has 3 toes. Please go here for synopsis -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-War_(film).

which poster do you like more? i like the 1st and 3rd. The first looks mysterious and rather more like a poster for online game. The third looks very movie-ish. the rest? looks like cheap movies. The stunt and the graphics in this movie are ok and you wont really notice the weirdness of a serpent slithering thru the city. Even the flight direction of the debris looks real. Watch it.

Oh yes. Jason Behr is the guy from Roswell in which i hated him. But, abocve pix, nmpk cute plak.

On other subject, i accidentally came across Par-Boiled Rice or Beras Rebus. My other half was supposed to buy a kampit of beras of 5kg and my instruction was "do not buy anything above RM25.00". So, he was kinda looking for a beras in which harganya is exactly RM25.00/5KG. When he couldn't find it, he took the one with price tag closer to RM25.00, which was RM20.00. I'M sure that there are many other white rice available in the supermarket but forgetting that my dear husband don't even know how to cook rice, i should have known better. He thought that all rice is of the same type and he bought Par-Boiled Rice. I've never eaten or cook any. so, i surfed the net and couldn't find any special notice on how to cook the beras. Instead, i found out that this type is quite nutritious and in between Brown rice and white rice. perfect choice. nvmd. I've noticed that 2 pots of white rice IS NOT the same as the same amount of Parboiled rice. But it tastes nice and really2 in between of brown rice, Basmathi and white rice. Minus the sticky parts. Good for nasik goreng. my adventure with Parboiled rice has not ended and to be continued.

My twin cleaned the windows at 2am yesternight and changed the curtains all together. mad isn't she? She's kinda in the "spring-cleaning mood & mode" and will throw away anything that comes in the way.

well, let her be. At least, something is done around the house.

...stuff!!! hence the title, this is gonna be a jumble of everything i have in my genius head at the moment... The event above was Hashim's birthday @ Aug 24th 08 @ Sek 6, SA. The food was nice and the majlis was brief and simple. Hilarious tho. For some people, befriending "soft people" or popularly known as pondan @ mak nyah is simply a sin. For a start, when a guy is soft in both the way he speaks and acts, it does not mean that he is ah kua @ pondan @ transsexual. Maybe he was simply born with it and there's nothing he can do to change it. No doubt that some of them (now becoming popular) has become full-time ah kua but it does not apply to the majority. I do concur that friends may shape who we become and hence may lead one to become whoever we may not intended to be. well, for the above bunch of people, i don't really take the idea that they're pondan!! some of them simply act like it because: 1. well, people will still they are becoz they're soft!! 2. to impress their friends. i know few of them who are happily married, left their drag show days behind, and are expecting a child!! But, they remain who they are, soft spoken, minus the make-up. Now, who are we, really, to judge these people? I strongly say that being a bisexual, transsexual (with the exception of Khunsa - dual gender) and even lesbian are against Islam and infact, every religion in the world (citation needed). but, to befriend them is not a sin. In my case, the forged friendship with some of this species has open up my eyes to the world, add colours to my life and definitely add varieties to my vocab!! Anyway, Sofiya was wearing the new dress daddy bought. I was and am impressed by his choice in under 5 minutes!! he could really express-shop!! on another subject ~ i have completed both world's wonders 1 & 2 and the above are my latest addition.

right: Sears tower, Chicago. easy. i've used the stapler for easy imagination of the height and width of the miniatures.
The tower has 108 stories as counted by standard methods, though the building owners count the main roof as 109 and the mechanical penthouse roof as 110. The distance to the roof is 1,454 feet (443 m), measured from the east entrance. Sears Tower was the world's tallest building from 1974 to 1998. - wikipedia.
left: Minato Mirai 21 , Yokohama , Japan. From the info on the packaging box of the puzzle, it is written hat it boasts the fastest elevator in the world, 45mph. wow!!!

From aug

Next, is non other than the Great wall of China, Beijing. since this is only a miniature, it is very2 mini and small. This time, i use the staples' box as comparison. very2 easy.

series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 6th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. Several walls, referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC. The most famous is the wall built between 220–200 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang; little of it remains; it was much farther north than the current wall, which was built during the Ming Dynasty.[2] The Great Wall stretches over approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles)[3] from Shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, but stretches to over 6,700 km (4,160 miles) in total - wikipedia.

Mini Golden Gate bridge of San Fransisco. very2 easy. again, i se the staples' box instead of the stapler itself as comparison.

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay onto the Pacific Ocean. As part of both U.S. Route 101 and State Route 1, it connects the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge had the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937 and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California - wikipedia.

From aug
This is Gyeonghoeru Pavilion of Gyongbokkung Palace of Seoul. Level of difficulty: medium-more-towards-easy.

It is gazetted as (national treasure number 224), which stands in an artificial lotus lake, resting on 48 granite pillars. The pavilion is depicted on the 10,000 won Korean banknotes. Clearly, the manufacturer of the puzzle has made a mistake by stating that this is the Gyeongbok Palace (경복궁, Gyeongbokgung) (said to be the largest wooden architecture in Korea).

The bluish Eiffel Tower is a bonus i guessn a bigger size of the same miniature is already featured in Box 1 and in my earlier post. However, the small tower is waaayyyy harder to put together compared to the bigger one. Of course, the pieces are smaller and triangle foundation is especially a pain in the wutever.

From aug
my whole collections consists of Box No 1 (5 miniatures), Box No 2 (8 miniatures) and White House (single).
From aug
For the singles, i have done White house and in the midst of constructing below Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. 98 pcs in total !!! hope i can be done before Ramadhan is over. There are many more to build, i cant wait. Mimie (anndee) already expressed her willingness to be the next owner should i want to throw these away. hmmm..we'll c how it goes. at the moment, i'm displaying the pieces in my office and we already called the area as Exhibition Hall. I dont think i can put these at home. sofiya just cant wait to chew em and Adam is not interested. nmaybe later...

owhh...how i wish i have the capital to be their distributor.

i think im done :-D...i have few other blogs but i seems to forgot their URL...hmmm...

anyway, i was reading the the star online and came across the articles about family of Sharlinie & Awie. berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu yang memikul. Even how hard my dad try to persuade me to let him take either Adam or Sofiya back to Keningau for Hari Raya, i wont budge. I cant imagine celebrating raya without my kids!! So, i cannot imagine how the family of the Sharlinie and Awie must be feeling right now. Sad. Lost. Despair. I can only hope that they will gather the strength to face the future even if it means not having both at respective family's side.
Any hope of finding both seems to be far-fetched but there's noting wrong in praying for their safe return. I feel sad for both. i feel more appreciative of my own and never take my kids for granted.
aiya...must cont work. babai for now.
